At his first two shows in early July, 1999, Ahriel started with a bang by winning back-to-back three-point majors. Two weeks later Ahriel won Best of Breed from the classes over a Special and went on to a Terrier Group 2 placement. At the Skye Terrier Club of America Roving National Specialty, 1999, Ahriel won Best of Winners at two STCA Supported Entry shows for back-to-back majors.
In just eight shows, Ahriel finished his AKC Championship with a total of four majors.
